Who we are?
I'm João, and I have a passion for capturing moments that words cannot express. Together with my wife, Ana, and our beautiful son, Francisco, we form a loving family.
From an early age, I resonated with Destin Parks' words: "Photography is the story I fail to put into words." Perhaps that sentiment is what ignited my lifelong love affair with cameras. Ever since I can remember, a camera has been a constant companion on my journey through life.
As our family grew, so did my dedication to freezing moments in time. Each click of the shutter became a testament to the joy, love, and adventures we shared. From Francisco's first steps to family vacations and everyday moments, my camera was there to document our story.
Through the lens, I discovered the power of visual storytelling. It became more than just a hobby; it became a way to communicate the essence of our experiences. The laughter, the milestones, and the quiet, ordinary moments found a voice through my photographs.
In this ever-evolving visual narrative, I've found a way to articulate the beauty of our family's journey. It's a story of love, growth, and the intricate tapestry of everyday life. My commitment to capturing these moments goes beyond mere documentation; it's about creating a legacy for Francisco, so he can one day relive the magic that shaped his childhood.
As I continue to explore the world through the lens, I am reminded that some stories are best told in the language of images—a language that transcends words, echoing the sentiment that Destin Parks so eloquently expressed.
